About us
Vision. WhiteGold mainly concentrates on commodity
products. Our vision is to be the #1 leader in each of the
product categories we do business in. To achieve our
target we do our best to bring good value products to
our clients at very affordable prices.
History. The first company of the group "WhiteGold
Ginnery Nigeria Ltd" was established by Mustapha
Taher in 1998. Over the past several years the group
grew to include an oil mill "Twin Hearts International
Ltd" (est 2004), a soap factory "Harami Soap Ltd" (est
2005) and an agro-commodity trading company in
Uganda "White Gold International Uganda Ltd" (est
2012).
Market. WhiteGold exports its cotton through 4 brokers
in Europe while at the same time selling its oil, cake
and soap through its distribution offices in Kano,
Gusau and Maiduguri. In addition the company does
other exports business in various agro-commodities
out of Uganda.
Plant. The WhiteGold plants spans over 60,000 sqm of
land and employs more than 150 permanent
employees and workers. However, during the cotton
season from September to April around 200 more are
hired.
